Flight Facilities - Tex Mex ‘23

The Flight Facilities Tex Mex tour; a week of headline shows in Texas sandwiched between 2 festival weekends in Mexico with a Coachella and Hawaiian sprinkle on top.

Vaiven Festival took the cake. Despite Cuernavaca traffic providing a few heart racing moments, Fight Facilities took to the stage and performed in front of a sea of people where the audience stretched to the horizon.

Austin was the largest of the Texas shows. The crowd loved it and that hype wore off onto everyone else resulting in two spontaneous encores and all of the crew on stage.

Naturally, a Tex Mex tour, alongside the music, features a lot of key food moments. Woody’s Smokehouse became the new favourite boutique roadstop although Buccee’s still remains close to heart. And of course, an unhealthy amount of Mexican food.

Kudos to the band and crew for completing 5 Live shows, 6 DJ sets and 2 days of rehearsal across the run.
