Matt Corby EU/UK ‘23

Long awaited after covid cancellations Matt Corby finally returned to Europe, giving eager fans a show they had specially held out for.

The team went into rehearsals in Manchester and had their first show at the Albert Hall. Jumping on the tour bus they carried on through the UK stopping in Bristol and London before crossing the waters into Europe. The audiences were VERY happy to see Matt again.

Lost Motel were at the helm of all things logistics and advances led by Rosie Potter and Rowan Johnson. The band and crew were made up of a mixture of old and new players & crew who got to bond sampling local beers in some of the cities. Long-time AU bass player and close friend of Corby, Rohin Jones, had his final tour before relocating to the UK. A special one to finish on!

Travelling through multiple countries with 11 instruments and a full audio pack, all items originating from various countries and a mixture of final destinations, the carnet documentation was quite a feat to keep track of. There was no shortage of challenges but the team crushed it. Special mention to MVP Ben Kocsis who used in house lighting rigs in all but two of the venues.
