Bass In The Grass Festival 2021
Amidst the chaos of 2021, a trip to Darwin for the return of Bass In The Grass Festival with three of our incredible music clients and their crews was honestly such a godsend!
With G Flip, Jack River and Violent Soho on the bill, the whole weekend felt like a big reunion and a tropical escape all in one, bringing us back into the fold to do the work we love with tour managers, FOH crew, stage technicians and so many other pals that we used to see on such a regular basis!
As is the case with any event in the current climate, we did come across a few challenges – extortionate flight costs in and out of Darwin, a last-minute COVID case scare in Sydney, and a flight cancellation out of Melbourne all spring to mind – but in the end, everything came together beautifully thanks to the hard work of an extensive list of professional heroes ready to push on and make live music magic a reality.

One thing that really stood out at Bass In The Grass: Darwin knows how to show a live act a lot of love! It was pretty clear right from the very first set that punters were as keen for the return of live music as we were. Everyone on site pushed through the sweltering heat to either participate in or facilitate a very special day of amazing live music from a primo all-star local lineup. Can’t get much better than that!
