Flight Facilities x RÜFÜS DU SOL – US Tour 2021

We well and truly came back swinging for our first tour back on the road post-COVID shutdowns – hello Flight Facilities on the road for a month in the USA supporting mates RÜFÜS DU SOL!

The pairing of Flight Facilities and RUFUS DU SOL felt so natural – it was amazing to see crowds pouring in nice and early to catch a full serving of Aussie electronic dance goodness from the duo and the incredible Ric Rufio and Owl Eyes leading the charge onstage for vocals. We also loved seeing all the new singles played out live and loud - as they should be! - in massive venues like Banc of California Stadium in LA (just a casual 75,000 people over 3 nights) or to ecstatic festival crowds like Corona Capital in Mexico City (what a way to finish the tour – the energy was electric). To top it off, the Houston stop was actually the debut show at the newly-opened 713 Music Hall. Flight Facilities officially took the honours as the first ever artist to play in the venue. Momentous!

Of course, they also had to squeeze in a quick stop off at the iconic Madonna Inn in California, and who could forget the Roast Stick of Americas & Fanny Pack of Grand Canyon? Thoughts and prayers for those who received the roast of a lifetime and needed help getting out of a canyon of despair…

Pre-show adrenaline pumping!

Iconic! The Madonna Inn is pretty cool too I guess…

It’s all in the little details…

Another unforgettable moment in Mexico!

Even though a lot of major COVID-related barriers have been relaxed and we are able to do shows again, there are still a range of obstacles, challenges and disruptions amongst the regular experiences we’ve come to know and love in our touring world. We are so, so grateful to the entire FF family that pushed through and gave 110% to make these shows a reality as we all try our best to make live music a beautiful reality again.
