Flight Facilities Forever - AU 22
All aboard! It’s been a long while since we’ve seen Flight Facilities on our home soil but they are back jet setting across Australia on their Forever tour. Checking into every capital city, these marked their first live shows since 2019.
Rolling out a whole new show design and brand new live elements the team undertook 9 days of pre-vis, band and production rehearsals to get everything up & running. LED screens spanning 12.4m in width and 7.2m at the height of the monolith were a sight to behold in each city.

Kicking off with Airfields, a show that was almost canceled due to the NSW floods, it was a raging success and took place in their hometown of Sydney. A long-time curated festival dream come to life with huge work put in by the entire crew to get it off the soggy ground.
Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl the set was captured in all it’s glory for Triple J’s Live at the Wireless . The most memorable stop was Darwin where Hugo and Rufio dipped their toes (read: entire bodies) in the water with William & Kate, two saltwater crocs who were definitely active and intrigued!
It was such an honour to work with the incredibly hard working crew across this run, both new & old. Australia’s music scene coming back to life has meant that availability is slim in some moments and knowing that we had strong operators who were always willing to go the extra mile was an absolute blessing.
