G FLIP - USA 2022 — Lost Motel

Kicking off 2022 with a bang, G Flip spent Feb & March in the US supporting Grammy-nominated act K.Flay AND pop-star Fletcher on their headline tours. 18 shows, many drum solos, a crew filled with faces old & new and even a shoey (!) this tour became one for the history books. So much so, G cemented their love permanently with tour tats of their bandmates’ names & ‘Give Me the Beat Boys & Free My Soul’, the hit that was played every night in the van as they left the venue.

Most exciting was the release of their new single ‘Gay 4 Me’ featuring Lauren Sanderson. Tested each night on tour, it soon became a crowd favourite with everyone singing along at the top of their lungs.

There’s also nothing quite like the adrenalin that kicks in when you realise you have packed your passport and visa in your checked luggage. Trying to travel in a foreign country can be quite tricky without those vital documents! We’re all still getting back into the swing of things post-covid aren’t we?

With touring ramping back up, team Lost Motel were excited to be back on the tools working on all things tour direction which included advancing and liaising with venues and artist teams, travel routing, sourcing crew and all things logistics.
