Genesis Owusu - EU/UK Tour 22

Backing up his unreal Australian tour earlier this year, Genesis Owusu & his Goons spent June making their European debut. With a string of headline shows and festival appearances, they won over audiences at Primavera Sound, Best Kept Secret Festival, 8 Festival (held in an old Lithuania prison!) and even a show at the infamous Berghain.

A sold out show at Underworld in London was one of many tour highlights, as well as visiting a bunch of new countries. Jumping into the crowd every show, Genesis Owusu had the crowd in the palm of his hand, winning over audiences across the board. No tour is complete without its challenges though - including a rogue guitar that decided to not board the flight and a little detour to London whilst travelling from Lithuania to France - but the crew’s spirits were high.

Shout out to the team who made this one happen - it was a tough run with one too many 5am lobby calls and hours spent in the car but their energy never wavered.
