Plane Sailing ‘23

Plane Sailing returned to Auckland’s Victoria Park for a second year under the city’s Skytower and with it came team Lost Motel to head up all artist logistics and the backstage build.

Despite some testing weather, the team managed to pull off another amazing show with the crowd all coming out in their ponchos to dance the day away - Smooth sailing!

One unsuspecting punter got more than he bargained for when he was plucked from the crowd and sent onstage to open Diplo’s set. The New Zealand Diplo doppelgänger got on and killed it hyping the crowd up - Life made. Whilst a few were confused and others didn’t notice, the real Diplo made his way to the stage and took over with a glorious set to end the night (and the tour run).

A huge thank you to all the Lost Motel team on the ground for this show, the final festival of 5 at the end of a huge New Years summer selection.
